CHICKEN ADOBO RECIPE FOR BEGINNERS
Ingredients:
3-4 lbs chicken, cut into serving pieces
1.5 pieces Knorr Chicken cube
3 cups of diet lemon lime soda
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white vinegar
6 pieces dried bay leaves
5- 6 heads garlic, minced
Instructions:
In a large pot, combine the chicken, Knorr Chicken cube, soy sauce, diet lemon lime soda, white vinegar, bay leaves, and minced garlic.
Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
Reduce the heat to low and let the chicken simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Once the chicken is cooked, use tongs to transfer it to a serving platter.
Increase the heat to high and let the remaining sauce in the pot boil until it thickens and reduces by half.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve hot with rice, brown rice or a side salad.
Total Serving: 5-6
Option: On a skillet, sauté diced potatoes until soft. Pour some adobo sauce over it soak up the flavor. Add it in with the Chicken Adobo.
